Textweb is a hypertext notepad with a reporting and cross-referencing feature. It has a simple browser interface. It is intended to help record and think about complex networks of ideas, things, or people, and their interactions. It is particularly helpful for those who frequently must enter new conceptual territory, and make sense of what they find there. It is useful for reverse engineering software, planning or analyzing a book, play, movie, or website, creating a branching text for use as a teleprompter in a speech, documenting procedures, planning for contingencies, creating and using classification networks, describing relationships between people, keeping detailed, outlined notes on classes and meetings, and numerous other purposes.

Textweb 1.2 was released by Codelode on Friday 10 September 2004.
Textweb will run on Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows 2000, Windows NT and Windows XP.
